After a controversial couple days in Portuguese soccer, Porto and Sporting will find each other in the League Cup final.
Porto defeated Benfica yesterday 3-1 in a game filled with controversial VAR calls. Benfica saw a goal which appeared to be onside taken away that would have tied the match at 2. Porto, meanwhile, score two controversial goals where there may have been a foul. VAR did not review either play.
In today's match, Braga appeared to have scored a 2-1 lead when VAR reviewed the play and said there was a foul on a Sporting player prior to the goal. The call was reversed and Braga would end up losing in penalties.
